Barb, thank you so much for your videos of encouragement! This one really hit home for me (and all of us, I’m sure). One of the parts of the Prodigal Son passage that I love I heard a message on awhile ago. In Luke 15:20 – “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him…..” The minister pointed out that the fact that his father saw him while he was still a long way off meant he was not just going about his business; he was standing there looking longingly into the distance waiting for his son. He could do nothing else except wait for his son to come home. It reminds me that while I want my husband to come to faith, it doesn’t even compare to how much his creator and Father wants it. And that gives me so much hope.
