Happy weekend, my precious friends! This song by Matt Maher is getting a lot of play time on the airwaves and on my playlist. The words Maher croons out, "Lord, I need you" is the common cry and song of our hearts, isn't it?

What's so profound is what happens when we tell Jesus, "I need You." He swoops in like the hero that He is and saves us. We are forever transformed and changed. And He doesn't stop there. He continually responds to our needs, doesn't He? He is our friend and comforter. 

He is our very righteousness and right-ness with God. Amen?

Lord Jesus, we need you. We need you every hour of every day. Every moment of our lives. And we are so very, very grateful that You hear and answer our cry-each and every one of them. Every time. In Your precious and awe-inspiring name, amen!

Have an amazing and love-filled weekend, my friends! I love you!

    I have been repeating the name of Jesus for comfort this week. It truly is power and I am in awe of how that works every single time! Praising You Lord every day because I need you!

    Thank you for this posting love this song it is so true sometimes I need you Jesus every minute during those hard days! Have a blessed weekend Sumites and that The Lord will wrap his loving arms around you and your family. Not only will you sense his presence but see it in practical ways. He is changing us from GLORY to GLORY and I pray we will work with the Holy Spirit. Xox hugs:)

    I just wanted to post a little yaay God moment I had, I know for most it probably wont seem like much, kinda one of those “ya had to be there” kinda moment. But for me it was a chilling, emotional, and a whoa moment. Anyway so I was in the shower and praying to God with expectation (usually Im not I guess I feel Im not or my request isnt worth it) Im hearing that this is the right way to pray…..oooops my bad. My prayer in the shower was this “God I so want to be a friend a buddy with you like David was, I want to have conversation/prayer with my friend” See I always feel I flounder around like a fish when I pray and get lost in Gods almighty power I feel inadequate. Anyway just then on my radio I hear James Taylor singing “you got a friend, aint it good to know you got a friend?” Mind you I never can hear what song is on the radio while n the shower…..just happy hearing music, but this was loud and clear! I started to bawl right on the spot. Then shouted “man I love you Jesus!” Just had to share it was so awesome : )

    I GOT SPIRIT CHILLS HEIDI! THIS IS AWESOME! SO HAPPY YOU SHARED WITH US! THAT WAS GOD SHOWING UP! I listen to Dr. Charles Stanley and I’ll never forget him saying that when we burst into tears with overwhelming emotion…that is God’s presence made known strongly and also I’ve experienced it as being a confirmation to something I was thinking or praying…AWESOME HEIDI. AMEN! You’re right though…I went through that inadequate, unworthy influence from the Enemy until I grew up more in my relationship with Jesus and now I just talk to Him all day. Car, kitchen, shower AND toilet! “wink” Anytime, anywhere…He’s there…listening. Aughhh (good German expletive) I LOVE YOU JESUS! Fill me heart! (((HUGS))) to you Heidi!

    PAT! In keeping with your statement that melted into my heart and mind…work WITH the Holy Spirit…
    Yesterday I made a conscious effort to act on anything good that “popped” into my mind.
    #1 I had just locked the store store at the end of my day when I heard…Unlock the store door and go back in to check a heater that is left on. WOW! Out of nowhere that interrupted my thought pattern. At the very same time Satan tried to convince me everything was OK and I almost said “meh” and left but thought twice and followed the Holy Spirit prompt instead! SURE ENOUGH. Heater was on and a piece of paper up against it to start fire eventually over the weekend. I had a HUGE SMILE on my face and started PRAISING GOD when I saw the coils in the heater glowing RED! AMEN!!
    #2 Heavy armful of groceries. Walked past a bake display for Mental Illness organized by someone I know. The Holy Spirit stopped me outside the mall and I was convicted! Went back in and purchased baked goods plus was given extra bonus goods to stop at my cousin’s store to deliver. SO! I stopped along my way home to purchase drink refreshments to accompany the treats for both her and her husband who are grieving the loss of a dear family pet at this time and struggling to put on happy faces at work.
    I know we’re not supposed to share the good deeds we display like “toot toot” on our horn but my point is that God confirms to us when we are on track with Him. Twice now I have read and heard in lessons and devotions this main point,
    ( The benefit of being a Christian is not only in the strength and comfort we receive in Christ, but we are then equipped to help those coping with the same hardships and trials with the same comfort we ourselves have received from God. )

    Jesus I Need You Every Moment, Love the song & it makes me feel the presence of God in my life. I need prayer — just had a confrontation with my unbelieving spouse, satan is alive and well. Just listening to that song did my spirit well, I feel refreshed in the Lord. Lord how long? Some day’s I’m not sure I can take anymore…

    Praying GeGe for less confrontation and a little more consideration for your faith. I think of Jesus walking from town to town to share the good news. Meeting so many different people and leaving the word with them to decide whether they want to follow or not. We return home to our spouse day in and day out with our need to share and express how God worked in our day without it becoming a debate or bluntly chalked up to coincidence or logic. At the same time I do not want my husband to miss what I am experiencing so he can witness events unfold so I’ve chosen to tolerate the remarks but not get into arguments. Keep turning back to the music, teaching lessons, prayers…all have the power of Jesus to restore, renew, rejuvenate! (((HUG))) Love you GeGe

    Dineen, I love getting these songs in my email! They are such a blessing! Friday on my way to work I was listening to KLove(my favorite station) when I heard a new song by Chris August called “Restore”. It is a song that I believe God ment for me to hear. As my husband believes that we are getting divorced, God has told me otherwise, this has boosted my spirits and encouraged me to stand on the promise God gave me. I want to share this with all of those who are standing for their marriage as well!
