Weekend Worship – God is Calling Us!

My friends, no matter where I go I keep hearing this same message. Special thanks to a friend who shared that a specific verse was on her heart and mind. When I read it, I knew it was meant for us and for all of God's daughters whom He's calling forth in amazing ways right now all over the world.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, Gods special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. – 1 Peter  2:9

Right before the last conference Lynn and I spoke at, God gave me a dream that I shared with the women who attended. I've had prophetic dreams before, just a couple that were directed just to me. But this one, this is the first one I've received that related to a global scale. I believe He wants me to share it here as well.

I was half awake, half asleep (it's possible it was a vision…I honestly don't know). I stood before a tall crop-corn I believe. Jesus stood next to me.

He gestured to the crop and said, "This is the Great Harvest."

I said, "Lord, I can't see past this, can you show me more?"

Suddenly I was up higher and could see tall mountains in the far distance. The crop spanned all the way to the mountains!

My friends, pray and seek God for how He is calling you forward. These are exciting times! God is moving in such a large scale right now. Many of us are hearing the same things! Share in the comments what you are hearing. I'd love to hear your thoughts and impressions of what God is doing.

I am so thankful for each one of you. That I can share this amazing journey with my fellow SUMites. God has so much and even more for us!

    We were talking about this last night at my recovery group. Someone else who attended my former church left for the same reasons I did. She wants more of God, a dynamic powerful presence in her life, and she wants to see it in others. Many I have talked to are also seeing/feeling/hearing the same things. I and others believe a huge revival is on the way. I can’t wait to see what God is going to do through this ministry and those who long to see Him and His glory.I may come back and post after I watch the video, have to do some stuff first.

    I have also heard spoken words when just coming awake. We must be receptive and relaxed,..before the noise of the day starts. I like the vision of harvest. I like to envision how powerful my loved one’s testimony will be when he is saved. Could that have a domino effect on others in our sphere of influence? Of course, evangelization goes beyond our own households, but home is a good place to start.
    Let us be good workers, bringing in that huge crop that Dineen saw before us. This means that we need to equip ourselves through study and prayer. Woo hoo. Let’s go!

    I have also heard a voice soon after awakening. It isn’t a dream. I am awake, but relaxed, when it happens. Perhaps this is the time that we can listen best before the noise of the day.
    I like the vision of a large harvest. I like to picture a future in which my loved one is saved. Won’t he have a powerful testimony that could cause a domino effect in our sphere of influence? Dreamy sigh. Evangelism should go beyond our own doors, but home is a very good place to start.
    To be harvesters, we need to prepare our tools for the task through study and prayer. Woo. Hoo. Let’s go.

    Wow, Dineen. What a vision, what a prophecy. Thank you for sharing it.
    Holding onto Beni’s message of being a hope releaser today, tomorrow and on. By the Lord’s “sheer strength” we will (SUMites) overcome and bring hope.

    my 82 year old grandfather was in the hospital this week and I was visiting with him alone. He is a minister and I was sharing with him that I believe there is a stirring in this nation. People are awakening to Gods Holy Spirit I can feel it coming I know it is true. His power is byond anything we can imagine and ladies we are in the very time where this awakening of such a great magnitude will happen. Rise up my sisters and do the will of the Lord be not ashamed of anything. He is with us and will use us greatly if we allow. I am so excited to see His hands at work it makes me filded with joy and awe.i

    Amen, “hope releasers” how powerful is that title! Definitely in need of the Lord’s sheer strength this week. Rejoicing that He is a God of impossibilities. I’m not one to ask for prayer but on thursday my husband asked me what day this week I would be available to meet with his divorce lawyer to sign papers. I know and see God working and completely trust his plan for us, He has removed all fear about the unsure future. But if those who pass by and read would say a prayer for my husband and I this week I would greatly appreciate it.

    On more of a global scale — last year I was invited to a worship/prayer meeting for revival, I didn’t really get the whole revival thing, but I really felt God say I want you to pray for revival…so I obeyed. And as I prayed He gave me a vision of blue electric like lightning(it was the Holy Spirit) coming down out of heaven from God and it went down to a person, then like a domino effect from person to person, to person etc. At first it was just on a map of where I live but then zoomed out to the whole country. And I felt God say to me this how revival happens it is spread from person to person. It was so powerful to see and gave me this deep desire to be a part of what God was doing.

    Wow, Teresa! Would love to know what you’re hearing if it’s meant to be shared. So exciting! I love how God is moving in so many different ways in ALL of us! He is strengthening and uniting us. Love that so much!

    Just yesterday I listened to Christine Caines podcast on Hero’s and Laborers very interesting if anyone wants to listen and Hillsong church are also doing a You version bible study plan on 40 days of Revival. I think we’re all on the same page body of Christ. The Holy Spirit is certainly the topic of my church and we welcome his presence. Such exciting times we are privileged to partner with God in.

    I am on the same page in sensing and recognizing how God has brought us all into the understanding of harvesting/revival.
    Only within the last few months has “others” been deeply impressed on my heart and this is now being connected to a “leader” role which I am NOT comfortable with but feel God strongly nudging me into. I will obey remembering all the people in the Bible who also considered themselves not capable of carrying out God’s request and reflect on how God helped them in mighty ways. All we need to do is obey. No matter what our feelings are about His requests, He WILL give us the supernatural power to carry out His plan. I actually love thinking about the amazing ways He will work in situations I see as ridiculously impossible for me to fulfill. Even more I love relaying testimonies of His great and awesome ways to “others” to bring them “hope” and lead them into the “harvest” times.
    p.s. The recent “asteroid” that almost collided with earth has me wondering just how soon Jesus will be returning? I feel He is closer than we realize. I am SO READY NOW!
    My vision has been of my long empty pew finally filled with friends and family.

    Exciting times indeed Dianne. I can’t get enough of Jesus and I love the really deep levels He takes me sometimes. All we have to do is obey. It is that simple yet some people are so covered in “darkness” they can’t even imagine! I keep praying for the darkness in this world to be pierced with his light because time is running out for this world.

    Lord Jesus I join all Sumites here who are praying in Your presence in response to Liz’s prayer request for her husband. I believe at this very moment You have begun to do a great work in his heart and mind that even he will question what he is feeling. We can’t know the plans You have for us Father but we trust and know that it is always good. I pray our sister Liz who seeks You faithfully will feel Your presence strongly now and a great sense of peace will wash over her in these days. In Your mighty and loving name we pray, Amen!

    Quite literally my husband (I can’t seem to use the term ex-husband) lives on the crop farm and God moved me to the mountains a month ago. I am struggling to hear God and to know what He is asking of me. One loving email got through to my husband this week showing God is still working in this realm and He is bringing me deeper into faith, humility and submission submissisubmission. It is so hard without family or friends but I know God is working all things into good for us and the entire planet. If

    Dineen, The Lord has given me a recurring vision for quite some time and after reading your post and the comments I would like to share it.
    I am walking on a rocky trail up a gently sloping hillside away from a walled city. There is nobody around. It is a hot day with beautiful blue sky. As I slowly ascend, Jesus is just ahead of me and to my left with his right hand reaching back as if to help me along my way. Ahead the trail rises and then over the top of the hill. I cannot see over the hill.The trail runs along side a wooded area or dark trees of some kind. I keep looking back. The vision is always the same.
    Yesterday evening I sat quietly and the vision came. I believe the city is Jerusalem. Not because that is where i was but because it is somewhere I recognize. (from pictures, internet etc) It is FAMILIAR. the city is walled with gates. Structured. “Safe”. The path ahead is rocky. It disappears over a hill. The trees are dark. BUT, there he is, again, with His hand held out to me. Now, if i take His hand and we keep moving forward, i will be leaving what i know, what is familiar to me. But He will be with me. If I stay where i am, I will always be looking back at what i perceive is safe and always wonder what is over the Hill. Do i trust Him enough to go with Him?
    Jody J, is He leading us to the mountain tops so that we can truly “see” the needs of others? So that in these high places we can experience Him more? I wonder if He takes us away for a season so that we are ministered to.

    Amen, Dianne! I was awestruck yet again at church today. Our pastor’s son gave the message (he has his own church in downtown San Jose) and it was all about being aware of what God is doing all around us and that He sets us up. Aka, divine appointments to nudge an unbeliever closer to Jesus. So awesome! So exciting to be a part of it all!

    Oh Angie! I’m so glad you share this. Grab Jesus’ hand and don’t look back, my friend! He’s beckoning you. This is a dream yes, but this is the REAL DEAL! Jesus is asking you to trust Him and grab hold of His hand. He’s waiting. That’s why the dream is repeating. Don’t keep Him waiting any longer, girl! He’s got great stuff for you!

    It has been my name…clear as day. The first time I took it as a call to action. The second time, I took it as a loving call. It was spoken dearly. Both times, I got up to look for someone in the house. But I was the only one home. If it happens again, I’ll remember 1Samuel 3 and say Speak. For your servant is listening.

    I’m a little behind in reading posts…but, in this video where she talks about crying for no reason – I feel like this is me a lot of the time. I can barely listen to praise music in the car without the water works turning on. And she talks about God brining his people out of Egypt – I have just started the Beth Moore study of Deutoronmy at my church and the main message is, “He brought us out, to bring us in”. I’m being brought out of somewhere, I’m just not sure where. I feel like I’m straining to hear God more clearly but most of the time I’m not sure if I’m hearing him at all. I keep praying to hear him more clearly and to be a better listener.

    AMEN to all the above!! I am totally getting the same message from the Lord… The word is AWAKENING and it is coming indeed… and yes it is through God’s people that it will happen. I just listened to Christine Caine’s message she gave in Montreal Quebec Canada … she touches on this whole topic beautifully…wanted to share this with you all: (message is in english but with a french translator for the french speaking people in the crowd)

    Me too, Sabrina! Just keep asking Him for that, and that He show you how. Worship is key and spending time just be still in His presence. I often hear God speak through His Word too. But truly, worshiping God through music and in our prayers, with gratitude and thankfulness-this does something to us that enables us to hear Him better. If you’re really struggling, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything you’re holding, like resentment or unforgiveness. Any kind of sin. It’s important to keep our communication clear of this stuff that clogs that. Then ask that that Holy Spirit fill you to overflowing. I do this every day as I enter my time with God. I don’t want anything to get in the way. And realize that we ALL do this. It’s part of our growing relationship with God. The enemy likes to mess with us too. Sometimes I feel like I can’t hear God at all and then I realize that’s the enemy shooting darts of doubt at me. And then I remember all the ways God was and is speaking to me! He’s there, Sabrina, He WANTS to be there and to talk to you. BELIEVE this.
