The Year of the LORD’s Favor


1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners

We serve a God of miracles.


In the past week, I have watched as God changed the lives of friends for eternity. I have witnessed marriages revived and on the road to healing. I have witnessed those held captive by lies – set free.


I am praising Jesus for He has come to bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the captives, and release the prisoners from darkness.


How has Jesus freed you?

    Thank you for hosting. Praise be for the release and freedom you are seeing with your friends. That is awesome. 🙂
    I guess my fight for freedom is trying to remember the fact that some days are just gonna be rough, and there’s nothing I can do but stay strong and seek consolation in Him. I don’t have to “do it all” and I don’t have to be perfect; I just have to get done on the “must do” items and anything else is icing on the cake.

    How has Jesus set me free???? You don’t have enough blog space! I was 49 years old when I gave my life to Jesus. I was diagnosed severe borderline personality with post traumatic stress. My life up until then revolved around managing the pain. But Jesus started in on me right away. It took several years, but day by day, month by month, He brought people into my life that loved me. He used people to reveal ‘lies’ in my heart to me. Anyway, now, I am FREE! No more pain!
