This scripture reference by Iris is perfect for this Valentines Day, Thursday. This verse is over used and referenced so frequently that I think we fail to be amazed by the profound truth of these words. Let us rejoice in the love our Savior.

I rejoice and am thankful for the love of Jesus that has set me free. I can’t begin to tell you about the many chains of bondage this love has broken.

Thank you Jesus, Thank you.

    You know, this whole love thing with Valentines day is alot more than what’s on the surface. There’s so many more aspects to love especially when we bring our spouses into the equation. That is a powerful verse indeed.

    Oh yes. He does break the chains and set us free. Usually He’s just waiting for us to accept His freedom. Recently, I finally realized that I needed to let go of a bunch of bitterness that I had been hanging onto. So, with prayer and tears, I did. The feeling of freedom is so wonderful. Glad that you are feeling free, too.

    You are right, Lynn. Yes, the verse has been used a lot – digging deep into it and reflecting on it is very powerful. The coolest thing is to take the verse and use different emphasizes on different words (not sure how to explain it on a comment – lol). Just try it sometime – is cool 🙂
