Testimony Time!

My dear friends, I have something absolutely astounding to share with you today. I have shared in the past about my financial situation being very difficult. We are still walking…

IMG_2200My dear friends, I have something absolutely astounding to share with you today. I have shared in the past about my financial situation being very difficult. We are still walking in this and it has required deeper trust for me to believe God will take care of us. Every purchase, even those extra not-so-necessary food items, is falling under the same scrutiny right now-do we really need this?

One of my major areas is a medication I have to take daily. It’s expensive. Each time my refill has come up I’ve prayed for God to help us find a way to pay for it. So far it’s been okay but still tight. We have muddled through.

Except for this time. Again, I found myself praying Wednesday night for God to provide the $80 I needed to pay for this month’s supply (thankfully health insurance has kicked in and brought down from over $600). And I prayed again the next morning during my walk (prayed for a fresh outpour of the Holy Spirit over our SUMite community too so look out!).

As I got to my house I remembered I hadn’t gotten the mail the day before. I brought it in and began going through its meager, junk mail offerings and found what I thought was a bill from our car insurance company. If you guessed it wasn’t a bill, you’re right. It was a refund.

For $80.11.

I was so overcome I broke into tears, praising and thanking God. I just had to tell Lynn (she’s been a mighty prayer warrior by my side in this) and was overcome with tears again and couldn’t speak! I scared the poor woman! LOL!

My precious SUMites, today I want you to share your testimonies of how God has supplied a need for you in such a way that you have no doubt it was Him. These testimonies are powerful and so uplifting. They strengthen our faith too. So share away and let’s give God glory today!

And thank you for all the prayers you have prayed on my behalf. Love you all so dearly, my friends!

    “Praise to God our Provider!”
    We NEED to hear more of these. How God is working in lives in tangible ways encourages us humans greatly! Those who follow me on Facebook have seen the astounding messages God has given me in losing Hero.
    One I truly believe was just for David and I to see of Hero’s head in the pine trees in our backyard. He was SO lifelike it BLEW US AWAY! God later confirmed what we saw to be true through my cousin bringing us a gift of a metal art piece to hang photos in on the wall. It was in the shape of a TREE and she had a photo of Hero in it!!!
    But THIS SONG is the closest I have ever experienced to being in God’s presence. So much so that when I started to read the lyrics as they scrolled up in the music video I fell to my knees. That is how we ALWAYS know GOD IS HERE! You DROP!
    AT first I only shared this with believers because I knew they could grasp the ASTOUNDING ways in which God works but it’s been impressed on my heart more lately to share with others who need “testimony encouragement” or simply some proof to “try God!”
    In missing Hero and feeling lost in his absence deeper than words can express I cried out to Jesus to come closer because I felt I was on the edge of being paralyzed with grief. This is the song He caught my ear to hear, my eye to see and my heart to KNOW!
    The absolute amazing thing in this however is that…get this now…this was HERO talking to me!? God gave Hero a voice to tell me himself what God wanted me to know because God knew I had to hear it from Hero so I could move out of the darkness! I smile and my heart BURSTS EVERY SINGLE TIME I reflect on this!

    Father God provides for me every month! I am living paycheck to paycheck and never know how I will pay every thing, BUT GOD provides! And he usually give me a little extra!,

    Around nine years ago I was a brand new Christian and still overcome by feelings of complete loneliness. One Sunday while I was sitting in the back of my huge church and watching all the happy couples I felt more alone than ever before. I cried and prayed for something, anything to let me know that I was on the right track (I’m sure we’ve all been there). Just then someone came and sat beside me, it was the husband of a couple that I’d met months before during my membership class. He looked right at me and said “God wants you to know that you’re never alone. It will be ok.” Like I’ve said, that was nine years ago but I still look back at that morning and remember that the seat next to me is never really empty, Jesus is there smiling ~ Christy

    I have been praying for my husband’s VA disability benefits off and on for a while. He started the claim process about 2 years ago, but he thought he wasn’t going to get anything for them. One reason that I’ve been praying for this is that as I am believing for restoration of our marriage, when my husband left we were living with my parents. Right now we are both full time students and I work as a nanny, but we don’t make enough to support ourselves without dipping into our savings. I knew that if we were to get back together we would need to be able to live on our own which means income that just isn’t there. Well a little over a week ago my husband called me because he wanted to go out ‘to celebrate’ his disability benefits that finally came through! We are still in the process of getting divorced, but I know this is part of God preparing the way for our reconciliation. Now when His perfect timing comes we will be able to afford an apartment. Also earlier that same week I found out that the 4-year college (I’m transferring to in the fall) gave me 9,000 in scholarships and 9,000 in financial aid, leaving only 2,000 dollars a year of tuition uncovered! My husband might not realize yet that it is God’s favor and provision for our marriage but I am thanking and praising Him up and down!

    Cool story, Dineen. He gave you just a bit more than you needed.
    Our congregation went through a hard situation that resulted in loss of members and years of financial difficulty. I was the Treasurer through this and did a lot of juggling. I prayed continuously for finances to be restored so the congregation could continue growing in knowledge, wisdom, love and service. One day, I was faced with a $70 invoice and no funds to cover it. Someone gave me their penny collection… which totaled $70 and some change. Perfect timing. We have since regained financial strength. We have also had several baptisims in recent months. There is more work ahead of us, but God’s hand is clear in our progress.
    I shared here recently that during a walk and workship it was sprinklilng. I prayed that the hard rain hold off until I could finish. I got more than I asked when a sudden and brief wind blew the clouds away and the rest of the walk was beautiful.
    I see God working in my husband in positive ways. Let’s keep praying.

    I was married to a nonbeliever for 24 years. I tried the reverent, modest, quiet service, and it worked to a great extent. We had a semblance of friendship and order, although he didn’t receive Christ. I worked hard, but had to turn over my paychecks to him. He had saved enough to retire at age 55. Last year he found a girlfriend, filed for divorce, and without a word from me, gave me so much more than half of his retirement, the house and alimony. I have a new lease on life, peace and more time to spend with my true love, Jesus. I lost weight, spend more time on myself, remember my boundaries and integrity and trust my life in his hands. I am so blessed, as my faithfulness to this man, Ill call Nabel, paid off in the end. I feel like Abigail, with new beginnings and hope for a happier future.

I felt led to go off with the kids and not come home, last night I was at my mom’s but to iChat, I didn’t know where to go. My best friend was unable to take us in as I’d hoped, but at her guy’s suggestion, they are booking me into a hotel room. For the night, and she will meet up with me so we can talk. My word, He leaders me beside the still waters, the last couple days my life all but fell apart, ( according to His plan) and now He is blessing us with a night in a hotel! He is truly, unbelievable!

    Dinesen, thank you for sharing!!! God is so faithful and awesome he is our provider!!! And when we depend on him like that he always comes through it is his character. He will always make up for the part we cannot do. But I truly believe I feel the stirring in my soul that we have to cast our lot/ all of our cares onto him and have the trust/confidence/ faith that he will provided and be our helper!!! The Lord has provided for us in so many ways we have gone through 6 or 7 layoffs and we never went hunger, we had a clothes on our back and with Gods provisions we were able to save our house twice from foreclosure!!!!!! Their is another story I want to say that I feel a tug in my heart to do so. At times it is painful just because the outcome could have been beyond horrible and I know other people may not be blessed in the way we were and my heart brakes for them.( as I write this with tears in my eyes) about two years ago we went on our family trip to the river. I was in the water playing with my boys and the younger one was on the raft he could not swim.( we were in swimming lesson and he was getting better but not there yet) my older son could swim.     I know there are MANY things that come straight from God, although sometimes I can’t recall all of them when I need to! I misplace jewlery a lot – When I can’t find it, I ask God to find it and it always shows up – rather quickly I might add.
    Recently I was away for work for 3 days, in a location that was a 3 hr drive from my home. When I got ready to leave to come home, I could not find my keys. My car was parked in a garage, and I had not taken my keys out of the hotel for the 3 days I was there. Looked all over the room, the lost and found, conference room, etc. Nothing. I felt like I should retrace my steps from when I first arrived. So I walked all through the parking garage and through the hotel just as I had when I arrived. The whole time praying out loud, “You would never leave me stranded, you love me too much to leave me here, you know where my keys are, please just show me,” etc, etc – I’m sure I looked like a crazy person…..
    I ended up in a restroom that was closed for cleaning, and there was a jainitor there who must have noticed the extreme stress on my face and said, “Are you looking for some car keys?” 3 days prior he found my keys in the restroom and put them in the hotels lock box for safe keeping figuring someone would be looking for them.
    The other interesting thing was that this man had the same name of a co-worker that passed away recently very suddenly. The whole thing blew my mind. Who loses keys for 3 days away from home and doens’t end up with a stolen car??!
    I’m on the road all the time and have been “detained” many times due to traffic, construction, a sales call that takes too long, etc, etc – only to find later that I have missed an accident by minutes. God takes care of my in ways I can not even begin to understand. 🙂

    Many years ago, my husband had to work in another town during the week and come home every other weekend. While he was gone, we experienced a huge plumbing problem in our home. Now I don’t remember all the details, but I remember we did not have enough money to pay the $1,000 plus bill, but we did have SOME funds to apply to it. I spent a good deal of time trying to figure out how the bill was going to be paid in full when, out the blue, my employer decided to give me a bonus. It was the amount needed to the penny! I knew God had a hand in this!
    Also, last year, my sister took a trip and wanted to leave her fragile, weak dog at home. She asked me, and others, to go to her house at different times during the day to let him out to “do his job.” I let him out in the front yard by mistake, and I was having a difficult time catching him. Knowing my sister would be devastated if anything happened to the dog, I asked God for help. I ran around a parked car, and there stood the dog, terrified because a huge cat was hissing at him, so I was able to pick the dog up and get him back in the house. Later, I asked my sister if there were any neighborhood cats that roamed around, and she said she had never seen any cats at all in their neighborhood.
    Both incidents were absolutely “God things”!

    Picked up and the raft came about if my hands with my younger son on it. I started to swim after it pushing old son to the shore and telling him to swim and at this time I could not reach the bottom. I was swimming and yelling for help and yelling at my son to stay on the raft!!!! My husband and other family members started to swim out to help me put the wind was just pushing that rafts further away. We could not catch up to it. All this time was crying yelling at my son to stay on the raft and he did and I was search for anybody to help to come by with a boat. There were boats around but nobody could hear us. Then after about minute or so I heard God say to me as clear as day. “Why don’t you ask me for help?” Right then I said dear Lord Jesus please help me help my son I am desperate!!!!! Seconds after I said that this man appeared out of nowhere on his boat( mind you I kept searching for someone on a boart to come near enough so they could see our hear me or my son and there was nobody close enough until God showed up) I ask the man p,ease help me and get my son. I kept on asking him where did you come from I saw a lot of boats out in the distance but then you just appeared.other family members of mine witness the same thing

    And said it was miracle. He got the boat close enough to the raft to jump into the water grabbed my son and put him onto the boat and brought him onto shore. Every time I think about this it bring me to tears. I have thanked God sooooooooo many times for saving my son and sparing my family from a lot of pain. I also try to be sensitive because I know other parents have lost their children to horrible accidents and I pray that The Lord will bring then a supernatural healing to them in their pain!!!!! Finally the man answered me and said he was off in the distance and he saw a boy on rafts and thought that was strange. Also want I thought was interesting there was another family right next to us who had a boat and they did not realize what was happening until seconds later after the man sent from God came to save our son. Then they realized and started to come with there boat also. Love you all blessing to all of you !!!!!!

    Incredible, Dineen.
    I prayed once that my husband would receive no satisfaction from something that was building a wall between us. It was a hard, frustrated and honest prayer.. broken and full of aching for his salvation. Not pretty. God moved mightily that very night. He loves and cares for us in amazing and deeply personal ways. I love God stories. Rejoicing with you all.

    Oh Christy, what a precious and amazing story! Wow! To think, God sent that man to speak those words to you. He could have spoken them to you directly but I think He knew you needed to hear them with your ears and SEE God in action for you. What a gift and a blessing to you and this man. So beautiful!     After my James died 3 yrs ago I had no clue how I would survive, but God has provided every step of the way. Even though I’m living paycheck to paycheck and often can’t even tithe like I should, He has been faithful to me. But most recently, like this past weekend….left to go to a Sunday School pool party/pot luck. All was well when I left. When I got home my house was about 85 degrees. I walked in and was like – uh oh, this is not good. Luckily, my son’s friend and cousin on his daddy’s side is an HVAC liscensed heat and air man. So I texted Ronnie and he was there in about 30 minutes. He found the problem and Praise God I just needed a fan motor. It was up and running Sunday. The God thing? Ronnie didn’t charge me a dime….not even a service call. Even though he is sort of related, he didn’t have to do it for nothing. WHEW!!!

    During this time, since I separated from my husband and in the process of divorce, the Lord has proven to be the best husband EVER, so faithful every day. My daughter and I live from paycheck to paycheck, but never lack anything, the Lord multiplies what we have and our cup “runeth over” 🙂 I stopped worrying now after a few months, I know that the Lord knows what date the mortgage payment is due, or that I have to pay for the summer camp. He knows BEFORE me asking of him. So really everyday is a miracle, too many to number…
    One of the latest ones was when the fridge started to break down. I called a guy to fix it and while he was looking inside of it with his little flashlight and a screwdriver, I got bored and stepped out to get the mail. Funny enough, there’s a coupon in the mail from Home Depot, 18 months no interest on all appliances:-) I giggled, “Oh, Lord, I guess you want to bless me with a new fridge!:-)” So when I got home, I knew what the repair guy was going to tell me that I need to get a new fridge. And I also know the Lord will provide for the monthly payments on that fridge. He is FAITHFUL and BEAUTIFUL.
    Getting off track here, have you seen Akiane’s paintings, especially Prince of Peace and Father Forgive Them? I had been praying and just saying “Lord, I wish I could see your face:-)” Anyways, my friend showed me Akiane’s art, and wow, am I blown away!!! http://www.artakiane.com/. Google the painting Prince of Peace by her or look on the website.. My Prince is the most handsome guy I have ever seen! Mind you, it’s just a glimpse of his true glory and now we see as if through a glass but we will see him face to face!

    I also find that the Lord chooses to feed us like little birds of the air, supplying the daily bread crumbs, teaching us to walk in faith, instead of dumping a whole fortune in the bank one day:-) So I too, find odd refunds from the Revenue Service or checks in the mail from the Transportation Registration I did not expect for the old license place of a car I sold a few months ago, or just a friend bringing over a whole meal, when the Lord knew I did not have groceries, etc. I guess for some people He does dump a whole fortune blessing in one day, but as for me, He is teaching me to seek His face and His hand every day, thus drawing me closer into His presence.

    Gillian, sometimes just a bit of distance can help. You have had a big disruption in your life with the change of address. There might even be grief over leaving the blue house, your first home together. Whatever the rough patch, this period of time probably exaggerates it. I am glad you have a loving support system in your friends and Mom. I am glad you could set boundaries. I pray that the hurts are soon healed. I pray you bring grace and forgiveness to resolve the rough patch.

    A mental picture has come to me a couple of times in recent days. I can’t describe it fully, but your note brought it back. There is a beautiful piece of carved wooden furniture. I admire it. It is beautiful. Ornate yet functional. The grain is clear. The finish polished. God reminds me that it was the rough sand paper that refined it and brought out its full beauty. First large grain, then finer and finer sand paper rubbing off the rough edges.
    “These temporary trials will make you into the person I created you to be.”

    I heard a radio interview with a pastor in a country with great poverty. He said the people are the happiest of any place he has ever served. (Not that poverty I good.) But the members of his congregation KNOW they depend on The Lord. There are few distractions from worldly goods. No pretense. There is less “flesh” in their lives.
    While that is an extreme, I think you are expressing a similar contentment in leaning on the
    Lord. I love the analogy of God feeding you like birds. (Like the old hym says..His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.)

    Theresa, I felt I had to clarify slightly, I wish that was all it was but there’s something else that happened, a deliberate choice that he made, that hurt me very deeply. God has held me through all the pain, and he showed me that, for his salvation, things had to fall apart a bit before they could be made right again. I’m walking in His will, this is just the hardest it’s ever been. I’ve been messaging him and ae both love each other and miss each other, tomorrow we will be going back home and can start to work through it together, and I know, somehow we will both work it out. Thank you for your prayers.

    Amen Samantha! FOCUS ALWAYS ON JESUS! I have learned SO MUCH through a recent personal tragedy of just how close Jesus can get when you keep calling on Him. It has simply blown me away. He is my strength! Where the Spirit of the Lord is, THERE is liberty!

    WWWWOW! POWERFUL SABRINA! I’ve got LOTS of testimonies but I think I shared the one that makes me sound the craziest which is OK…because we know personally, each one of us how God speaks to us and we feel it in our soul that it’s Him. So yeah, I don’t even care anymore if people think I’m off my rocker because I know what I know. I couldn’t get over the first words out of the janitor’s mouth. Really? When are we in the presence of angels? Hhhmmmm!

    Yes, I’ve seen her work. It’s amazing! ASTONISHING! And what a witness to her atheist mother. I haven’t heard the latest, if her mother came to believe. How could she not in light of what her daughter painted and from so young an age?!?!? Astounding! And I love how God has taken care of you and your daughter, Olga! So beautiful!

    I will try to keep this short. Several years ago I was getting phone calls threatening my children’s lives. They were 8, 10, and 12 years old.. Needless to say I was terrified. My head told me it was a prank, but my heart was scared to death. I prayed and prayed and told The Lord I don’t have to know who it is, but I have to know my children are safe. A few days later, a woman went into my friends hair salon, saw my kids picture on her bulletin board, and told her she walked in on her grandchildren making the calls. This was a rare visit to her salon. She begged my friend not to disclose who it was but promised it would never happen again. The Lord is so faithful and loving and attends to our every need. Praise The Lord!!!!!

    My pre-believing husband’s love language is acts of service. Since it is not my love language I have to be very intentional about fulfilling his requests. Making it harder is the fact that he shows little appreciation when I do the things he asks, and equally hurtful is that he doesn’t seem to care about speaking my love language – words of affirmation. (Please realize I am not badmouthing or condemning my husband here, but am merely sharing our reality.)
    Well, recently I was very careful to make sure I accomplished every task my husband asked of me before the day was done. Interestingly, better yet, miraculously, every day that same week I received either a hand-delivered or snail mail word of encouragement from a friend or family member. God was honoring my acts of love to my husband by filling my love tank through His hands and feet! Alleluia!

    I have seen so many times that God has provided where finances are concerned over the years. But what stands out for me is about three years ago, my job was “outsourced” after working for a company for 33 years. It was such a shock and scary time. However I can now see it was God’s plan Right before I was let go, I did the usual doctor appointments to be sure all was ok, while insurance was in place. It turned out I did have an issue and had to have surgery. All was well. I was not working and had received the severance package so we were covered and insurance still in place. Then a about 5 or 6 months after that, my daughter got ill and was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. We thought we might lose her during this time. I was so grateful I wasn’t working at the time and was able to spend time and focus on our daughter. After the fact I could see how God worked things out so we would be able to be with her and we could see His plan. I now have a job working from home things are still tight, but I am able to be here with my daughter and thank God regularly. We do have an awesome God.

    Oh, Dineen. Do we have to limit our testimony to just one instance where God has provided? I can list dozens. So many, that I started writing them down so that I could go back through the years and see God’s guiding grace and hand in my life. The most recent one was last night. My soul has been dry and parched and the enemy has been working overtime on me for quite some time. I was listening in my living room to an on-line to a radio message from Dr. Tony Evans of The Urban Alternative about being thankful. Given my present mindset, that concept struck a painful (shameful?) chord in my heart. I leaned back and closed my eyes, just absorbing the words as Truth. As I lay there, with my eyes closed, I felt the gentle whisper of a breeze cross the top of my head and reach down my face. It startled me, and when I opened my eyes, I swear I saw something. All at once it registered what it was. You know how you just know in your bones? I knew it was from God. Could it be that, He breathed on me?
    With respect to physical needs, I remember that, we were very close to the pastor at our church before my husband walked away from his faith. We were up to our eyeballs in debt, including owing income taxes. Our pastor asked us how much we needed. We told him, and he wrote us a check, just like that. We had no way to pay it back, and he told us he knew that, but that God would provide for us. Well, He did, in a most unusual way. (cont’d)

    My Dad died suddenly from a heart attack shortly after our pastor wrote us that check. He had remarried an awful woman after my Mom died and, while everything else managed mysteriously to have been transferred to her, my Dad had not changed the beneficiaries on his life insurance policy from his three daughters to her. She was furious! But, that was the way he left things.
    We borrowed $30,000.00 from our pastor. My share of the life insurance proceeds? $33,000.00. It was painful to lose my Dad, but in that process, God provided a way to pay back our pastor and remove us once and for all from the crush of mounting tax debt. I’d like to think that, even after his death, my Dad continued to provide for me. And, my heavenly Father was instrumental in that provision, too.

    Something else happened here recently and I thought it was interesting. A baby deer had been wandering in our neighborhood for a couple of days and its mother was with it, but not paying much attention. It wandered right into my next door neighbors garage while he was working. On a Saturday morning I was working in my garden and heard foot steps on my deck. Weird unfamiliar footsteps…I looked up and a tiny deer was looking down at me! I went up to the deck, my husband had seen it walk by the window, and it laid down right in the corner. We could tell it was hurt, and obviously confused. Luckily, we know some veterinary people. Called them, they came were able to crate the baby deer without much drama. They took her to the clinic, treated her, and then took her to an animal sanctuary. Now if we had called the game warden he would have shot the deer. Another day on her own and she would have died for sure. 2 things I took away from this: if he can lead this baby deer to people who have the ability to help him, how much more is he willing to do for me??? And sometimes, you have to wander onto someone’s deck and trust that God will work the details for you 🙂

    God has blessed us beyond belief.
    !.My husband hasn’t worked in 6 months. We are 2 months late on our house and 2 months late on our 1 and only car payment. I am looking for God to do a miracle and I know he will.
    2. I have had chronic low back pain for 5 years and unable to work. Recently, my pain in very minimal and I was able to get 2 jobs thanks to God.
    3. My husband has 3 good prospective jobs he is up for.
    4. My daughter moved into a satanists apartment. We went and prayed God would get her out of there. Two days later she moved out. Praise God!
    5.My husbands anger is completely gone…that’s a miracle.
    6. We have God’s peace in our home even though we may losing everything. It’s OK because I trust my heavenly Father. He will never let us down.

    All of these testimonies have been great to read ! I agree, I can think of more than one time God showed his amazing love to me ! I call them God moments and my journal is full of them. Its what keeps me going !
    Forgive me if I shared this before, but its the one that stands out, for I feel it was the beginning of God moments for me.
    It was in the very beginning of when my husband first turned away from the Lord and I was still in terrible shock and disappointment and hadn’t even shared about it with my parents or anyone yet. I felt so alone.
    One night while in the kitchen I felt overwhelmed with despair. I cried out silently to God, “Do you see my broken heart, do you care ??? I need you! ”
    It was only within a few seconds and the doorbell rang…We weren’t expecting company and I really wasn’t up for it, but I went to the door.
    Here it was my Dad with a bouquet of flowers for me. He said he just wanted to say he loved me and he was going to drop these off later, but felt compelled to give them to me now !
    I gave him a big hug and almost collapsed in tears, but held myself together until he walked out the door.
    I went to my bedroom after that and fell on my knees and thanked God! I truly believe that He used my Dad to give me a hug, to show me that yes indeed my Heavenly Father is listening and he saw my broken heart and he sent my earthly Father to give me a HUG and flowers to show HIS care 🙂
    I did later on give my Dad a card and explain to him about what happened that night and how I believed God used him. Yes, there were tears in his eyes too after reading it 🙂 It encouraged me to really listen to God and when HE compels you to do something DO IT!!! You don’t know the blessing you could be on someone!

    I should add that these flowers were ordered in advance from my Dad’s work. They were selling flower bouquets to support the American Heart Association. So God knew in advance that I was going to need those flowers and he had Dad order them. Dad was on his way somewhere else after work that night, so was in a hurry. Was going to give me the flowers the next day, but felt like he had to deliver them to me at that time 🙂
    Yup, it still gives me goosebumps!

    My marriage has suffered from an affair that happened about 6 months ago. When my husband told me what had been going on I was devastated but I knew in my heart, as a professing Christian, what I had to do. Forgive my husband and start new. Letting go of the situation was so much harder than I anticipated. Struggling day in and day out with thoughts of my husband with another woman, seeing this woman around town, and struggling with the trust issues. We have a 16 month old girl and it broke my heart to think of our family splitting up over this but I was literally tormented and depressed each and everyday. About 4 weeks ago, we started our day off with another argument about the affair due to my sharp tongue and bitter spirit. I had forgiven my husband but was fighting a battle within myself to let the situation go and to move forward in our marriage. That day I was so broken down, I couldn’t eat or work…I sat in my office chair that day and prayed for God to give me some hope and relief, a prayer that I had prayed many times before but something was different this time. My heart & mind was so broken and worn, I knew that this was a battle I could not fight alone. That day I gave it to God. His Holy Spirit filled me…God told me to write down on a piece of paper what my prayer was that day and what he was speaking to me and to date that note so I would always remember that day. He spoke to me that He plans to use me for something important and that I MUST learn to trust Him. As I wrote this note (my prayer) I felt immediate relief, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I have been a believer my whole life but I have never felt God move like that in me. From that day forward I woke up refreshed and renewed. I was not plagued with horrible thoughts and Satan could no longer tell me that my marriage was ruined. The Lord even put in upon my heart to send a message to the woman who was in the relationship with my husband and ask for her forgiveness of the harsh words I spoke to her out of anger…..that brought on a whole knew realm of peace in my soul. I learned a HUGE lesson through this and although I would never wish to have gone through the trials my marriage has encountered I am so thankful that I have learned that I must lean on Him for everything in my life. He breathed new life into me and my marriage that day. What a blessing

    Thank you so much for these testimonies. God delights me in so many ways. I have been praying that my husband would share some of his heart. He only talks about superficial things. I can’t see his heart but trust that god is answering prayer and whooing him towards him. The other day while traveling he made an honest statement ” that he could not believe the way I do and that he didn’t know what he believed and what about all the bad things that happen to people” this was an honest statement from his heart and I praised God and asked for wisdom in the way I answered.
    Yesterday on my way to work god saved me from a really bad accident. I praised him for that. Sometimes there are so many small things god does for us that if we are not watching and listening with our spiritual eyes and heart, we will miss the blessings.

    I left my keys in an office that was closed and locked and everyone gone home for the day by the time I realized… I thought and I prayed and just when it seemed like we’d be really stuck a janitor walked out of the building holding them, looking for the owner! Walking with angels indeed 🙂

    I’m always try to speak to janitors, or acknowledge them somehow because often people ignore them. But there are so many ways that they have been helpful to me over the years. Even when I was school age 🙂

    I also get down on myself when I think of the MANY signs that told me my husband wasn’t a believer before we got married. We both spent so much time serving that I was blinded to the fact that he didn’t actually know Jesus. It’s really hard and I feel so alone and stupid sometimes.
