Que the confetti!!!!!

Study kicks off August 1st.

Our bible study this year is going to be a little bit different. Instead of studying a book of the Bible or specific chapters, we’ve decided we’re going to look at a few of the Psalms.
Throughout the many years of my relationship with the Lord, I have received answers to questions as well as understanding to mysteries regarding many issues that the human race faces. Interestingly, I’ve uncovered the answers I am searching for, and even some I’m not, within the Psalms.

I find that many people when they’re searching for answers, they are led to the psalms.

In fact, this past week, one of my prayer clients contacted me. And she was led to some interesting understanding about Alzheimer’s disease. And it was found in the Psalms. I hope to share that story later on in our Bible study. It’s absolutely fascinating.

There is a way to study the Psalms for more than what I call first level or cursory understanding. There is always more to be learned and understood from scripture. And if you’ve studied the scriptures for any length of time, you know that there are multiple layers and multi understanding that are offered within the word of God.

It’s a beautiful thing to study the word of God and know that it is alive and filled with greater understanding, year upon year.

Learning to read the psalms with the Holy Spirit is an absolute blast. Often times, when I am pondering issues or questions, I’ll find the Holy Spirit will pop a verse into my head. I hear the passage, then Google search to find the scripture address. Once found, I read the entire passage and it’s in that moment that greater revelation unfolds.

As we work through some of the Psalms I’ve chosen for this Bible study, I’ll reveal how this works when I sit with the Holy Spirit over the Psalms. It’s absolutely fascinating.

For now, I would love to hear your opinion. What is your favorite Psalm or Psalms and why? Share with me in the comments. I may want to use one of yours as an example.

I bless you to receive great revelation from the Holy Spirit and through scripture as we study the Bible together during our summer Bible study. Blessings and hugs, Lynn.
