When I’m speaking or interviewed for radio, spiritual leadership of our home, often comes up as a topic for conversation. It’s really interesting to me that this question comes to me from other believing men (radio interviews) as well as women who are living unequally yoked.

My friends, we the spiritually mismatched, certainly live in the “in-between.” And spiritual leadership/direction is of monumental importance to us and we wrestle with how to do this well.

    OH I love this article ! Speaks so clearly to me ! For it really is a struggle to feel the weight of your children’t spirituality all on you ! Notice the last 3 words. Yes, I believe that we are meant to step ut to the plate BUT I used to think it was ALL on ME, that is wrong! God is the greatest spiritual leader they can have and He’s done an amazing job! Yes, I still have a large responsibility ,but I will tell you when I learned that lesson, it took a great burden off. I just wanted to put that out as encouragment to others. You don’t need to feel you gotta get your kids in every bible school in town and church absolutely every Sunday,etc. and morning devotions every day. All these things are important, but more important is living Jesus love right in front of them, as you said ! Having them see how you handle the rough times and how you depend on God,etc. That’s what speaks to them, knowing that Jesus is your best friend and he can be their’s too!
    Ok sorry,for mini sermon, just a subject very close to me. I feel us SM woman have enough weight on our shoulders and when we worry about our children, it just adds more. I pray Jeremiah 29:11 over my children constantly and I do the best I can, but I can’t save my children, only God can!
