Our Lord is fascinating!
I am sure you already knew this. However in the past several weeks I have been an eyewitness to the most amazing events.
For two years I have been writing here at Spiritually Unequal Marriage. I have shared my struggles and the many ways God has supplied my every need and fulfilled my dreams. I have also shared much about my husband and his unbelief.
What I want to share with you today is this: I am an eyewitness as I watch God pursue my husband. Miraculous events take place on a regular basis in this mans life. I stand back and watch God intersect with this one solitary human being. I am undone, amazed, and humbled to consider all God does to breakthrough to my husband. God is literally pounding on the door of this mans heart.
I have seen it not just once but several times. Last summer there was the “Baptized” balloon which was delivered to our back door just for my husband. This is a true story and if you have time you can read it here (A Divine Balloon).
Two weeks ago an extraordinary event occurred, my husband actually prayed. I shared this experience with the crowd at 1Peter3Living. Click in there to read my testimony.
Why am I sharing this with you? Because I am privileged to witness God at work. I have recognized His subtle pursuit of this man and have prayed to accentuate His divine plan.
If you are discouraged because you don’t see progress, take HEART. God is not dead. He still reigns on the throne. He is perusing every living man, woman, and child on the face of this earth. We just don’t know how to see it.
Take courage for it IS the will of the Father that no man should perish, even my stubborn, atheist husband. I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt, before my husband departs this earth, he will know Jesus.
2 Peter 3:9 (New International Version)
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Have a blessed and powerful day. We serve the Most High. What do we have to fear? Not one thing. Be Blessed, Lynn
