Dear friends, I will resume our study of Romans with my Saturday post. I just felt so compelled by the Holy Spirit to share this with you and follow Lynn's lead in sharing a testimony. I pray you are encouraged and emboldened as I was to first hear testimony and then put it into action. Love you! ~Dineen

    I love your testimony. It is so inspiring to know that when we share and pray for people, that we are passing a blessing on to them, so they can experience healing as well. In addition, I love how God is so big, yet talks to us and shows us the small things that matter so much. Your Bible is a reminder of how much even the small things matter to Him. And how much heoves us.
    Please pray for me today, as I am in the middle of the 40 day Daniel fast, and got sick with a stomach bug. I need to work today and need the mental and physical strength to do so. I press on claiming healing and that God will give me strength for today. Thank you SUMites for all you do. I love you.

    This is an awesome testimony! The part that stuck out to me was when you asked yourself “Who am I to pray for such things” Well you are a daughter of the one true King and He has given you the authority to pray such prayers! I have personally prayed for a few people for issues that I’ve never dealt with and they were healed. Not by me, but the Holy Spirit through me. I have learned that if I truly believe the people I pray for are going to be healed, they usually get healed. If they don’t get healed right away, I believe it’s coming. I just choose to think that way and it is amazing! Don’t ever sell yourself short. God uses people like “us”. Love you girl and continue to be Bold in Jesus name!

    Oh Pamela, girl, you made me cry! I remember singing that song at a youth retreat (I was one of the counselors). I forgot all about that song but hearing it reminded me of that time and Abba’s sweet presence then. Wow, thank you, my friend! Hugs!

    Pamela, Thank you for sharing that song. I’ve heard it before but today it meant so much more.
    Dineen, I too was led to pick out that Bible. The idea that I am special enough to walk into the throne room of our God and be seen as his child just touches me deeply. I am in awe of Him and how much He loves me. When I think of my own special sanctuary I get a picture of a very peaceful and elaborate place where I alone can commune with Him.
    Thanks everyone for sharing on this website. I cannot put into words how things impact my daily walk.

    Wow, Dineen, so powerful. I loved the last 2 video posts from you and Lynn on healing. I believing that The Lord is speaking to me about praying for others healing, through your post. Yesterday, I was at the hospital, getting some pre-admission testing done for a procedure I have to have tomorrow. But as I was waiting for my husband to pick me up, I was sitting in the waiting area and I overheard a woman say she was in so much pain in her leg. She was also waiting to be picked up. For a split moment, I thought, should I ask her if i can pray over her leg? But, I questioned, if this was from the Holy Spirit or was it just my thoughts? Is this woman going to think Im crazy? Who do I think I am that i can pray over this complete stranger? So, she left and I missed the opportunity. But, as she was leaving, I found myself praying, under my breath, and speaking healing for her as she walked away. I felt bad that if I was suppose to pray with her, I let our Father down. But, I also realize that He will give me another opportunity and I have to be bold and confident, walking in my faith. So, I take it as no accident that I listened to your video today and I thank our Jesus for His faithfulness to us and never giving up on us. Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to continue to use you and the awesome work that both you and Lynn do:) Blessings, Danielle Jean-Pierre

    Danielle, I have been in that place of questioning if I was being prompted by the Holy Spirit or just by myself and I have frozen and held back. But as I’ve grown I don’t think we can ever go wrong in praying for someone. Even if it is “just a thought we have on our own”, WHY in the world should we think it would be wrong??? The Holy Spirit resides within each of us so we can’t go wrong in praying for others and God will honor our prayers because we are walking out our faith. It’s in those moments that it seems like God works on our behalf because our eyes are off our own problems and focused on serving others. Be BOLD and PRAY ON!!

    Dineen,
    God restored my body that morning by the time that I stood up after devotions. A peace came over my body. He brought me peace, restoration with energy. I was able to work with clarity of mind as well. God is good.

    WOW! WOW!.. God is so great.. Loved the testimony Dineen. Thank you. I was unable to watch the testimony the day it was posted, so I watched it today after the huge testimony in the next post. He is so amazing, today I stopped a random stranger because I really felt led to pray for her. She was badly burnt on her face and her eye was burnt as well, I felt led to stop her ask her, how it happened and just prayed telling her that God said help was on the way.. WOW!! I got the courage from nowhere.. Yoh! Amazing

    Daneille, thank you for sharing this with us. It’s such an honest picture of what we all struggle with at times. The enemy would love to move in and make us beat ourselves up over it but you turned it into a positive declaration of Abba’s heart of love and understanding and new opportunities to come. That’s excellent!!!
    Go forth, brave prayer warrior, in the name of Jesus! King Jesus, fill Danielle with great courage and compassion. In Your name, amen!

    “WHY in the world should we think it would be wrong??? ”
    I love that, Merlene! So true. Prayer is never wrong. We faithfully offer and pray. Then it’s between them and God. We do our part and He does the rest. The result is His and not a reflection of who we are or how we perform. We are just to walk in love and compassion through the Holy Spirit and offer to give this to others. Amen!
