Friends, Ann here.
I want to talk about the topic of promises today. I am doing so because my book, The Pair-Shaped Promise describes the story of how I carried a promise from God deep in my heart, I believed it would happen. And it did.
But without meaning to spoil the book…. there is a plot twist.
And I believe that’s something God does: He gives us plot twists in our lives. We can never predict what God is going to do or how he is going to do it. He is original and genius!
My friends, do you believe that God has promised you something in your SUM?

What might it be that God has promised you?
Share in the comments if you are believing for a particular promise. In my case, I believed my husband would turn to Jesus.
Sometimes God promises us things in the physical: For example, I know people who were promised they would get married, be healed, or have a baby. I have had the joy of joining in with others as they believe in their promises, and then I have seen those promises come to fruition.
But the way I see it now, a spiritual promise from scripture is far more powerful than anything in the physical. For example, ‘You will be kept in perfect peace’ (Isaiah 26:3).
So if you’re feeling a little bit like ‘God hasn’t promised me anything,’ yes he has. Dive into scripture and ask him which promises he wants you to particularly hold.
As for The Pair-Shaped Promise, if you’ve not yet read it, check it out on Amazon here. It’s been a heartfelt thing to share that story with you.
Let’s chat ‘promises’ in the comments!
Love,
Ann
