Can you think of a time when you were delighted or surprised by another person’s unusual kindness (someone other than your spouse). What did that person do that made the kindness so unusual?
I was blessed on the receiving end many times by other people’s kindness. I think in the “me-centered” world it is wonderful to know that there still people how care. I have to say that the people at my local grocery store are always very, very kind–and they all know me by name. Maybe because I shop there on a daily basis *smile*.

When I had pneumonia, my small group took turns bringing my family meals. It was uncomfortable at first for me to rely on them, but finally I was so sick I didn’t care. It has meant the world to me.
Oh, why to do I always mix up ‘who’ and ‘how’? Good question!

A woman from church took my children to a performing activity once a month for me while I was juggling other responsibilities and my husband was out of town during his weekly travels. Thankfully, he’s traveling less often now, but her kindness is something I never quite felt worthy of and always appreciated. God has helped me realize that he makes me worthy, but in this society, it’s awfully strange-feeling to “get something for nothing”. THanks for the devotional/prayer.

One act of kindness I will never forget (although I have someone forgot the ‘who’) is when an adult student classmate of mine (that drove a Benz) paid for my tuition so I could stay and attend summer session when I was in college. Wow!
