Over the past year I have spoken with women who are engaged or dating a man who is not a Christian. I want to leave these words for you today.

A woman’s heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man should have to seek Him first to find her.

God’s word has much to say about unequally yoked relationships. His word is not only applicable to marriage but also to business partnerships, associations, etc.

I pray today that your heart is hidden in Christ. Have a blessed day. Praising the Lord today. Lynn

    Oh, Lynn. My heart nearly stops anytime a Christian woman says that they are involved with a non-Christian man. I have mentored so many women in this position and almost always they are resistant to the idea of putting Christ first, even knowing what I and so many others have gone through because of being in that position. It breaks my heart.
    It makes me wonder how often a relationship with a non-Christian man isn’t a sign of something wrong in their relationship with God. I know it was for me, and I know it was for a lot of the other women I know in that situation–not always obvious at the time but later one can look back and see what was at the heart of it.
    This phrase is excellent and perfect. Thank you.

    Great post. I agree with Heather, I was in rebellion when I married my husband. I love him dearly, but we have major issues in our marriage which could have been avoided if I had been obedient at that time in my life.
    Thank you for the powerful post and I pray it is taken to heart by anyone reading it who is currently in that position.
