Thanks for sharing yourself with us as well – good job. I know that the ‘purity and reverence’ is sometimes difficult for me. I am not meek or mild. I am very outspoken – sometimes it’s a strength, but most of the time it just adds to friction with my husband. I have heard, more than once, “And you’re supposed to be this Christian woman…” Ouch! While at the time, he means it as a barb, I know in my heart that I can do better. Sometimes, I even think to myself that if I would just keep my mouth shut more or lower my volume or soften my tone, more arguments could be avoided. I will keep praying for help and guidance – I keep saying Lynn’s Eph. prayer over and over.
