Okay, I have to tell you…. I’M FREAKED OUT!!! 

Dennis Rainey, stops the broadcast and speaks directly to my
husband, Mike. 

FLT-bannerMy friends, this is the craziest, bestest, radio interview with
Dineen and I to date. As I told you yesterday, I was able to listen in before
the BIG DAY… And I about fell on the floor when I heard Dennis Rainey start
talking to my husband. I had completely forgotten about this exchange. I can’t
wait to hear your thoughts about it all. 

So, on Monday, THIS MONDAY (Yikes, already), FamilyLife
Today with Host, Dennis Rainey and co-Host, Bob Lepine will welcome Dineen and
me along with Darla Stone to a three day broadcast, “Married to an Unbeliever.” 

Dineen and I are praying that God will help men and women to
“happen” on to a radio station exactly when we are on the air to find us at SUM.
(oh ya, like it’s a coincidence, *grin*) We know so many are out there who feel
alone in this crazy journey of the unequally yoked. We WANT them to find all of
us. 

We are desperate to tell them that Jesus can and WILL make
all the difference in their marriages and their lives and that Jesus brings
healing, hope and JOY! 

Everyone, this broadcast is also about all of you. We don’t
want it to be about us. It is our community which God has blessed. It’s about
the love and the power that flows through all of us. So may Dineen and I humbly
ask you to help us next week? 

Will you please decide today to partner with someone who
lands on our site Monday and then again on Tuesday and once more on Wednesday?
Will you see some young wife who is brave enough to leave a comment on the site
and will you pray for her right there in the comments? Will you give your name
and offer your love? Can you tell her you know how she feels? Can you say to
her, there is hope? There is always hope because we serve the great God of the
universe. 

Stop in once, twice or more each day. Pray for more than one
newcomer. Pray for each other if you want. Just be present in the comments to
love one another. So many of you have come so far in your journey and as you
share your love, your testimonies, two amazing things happen in the spiritual
realm. One: You OVERCOME… by the word of your testimony and TWO: you give great
honor to our Lord. 

Do you remember where you were when you first found this
online place? So, walk this out with us and share all that God has done in your
life. 

So I ask you today: Are you in? (Let me know in the
comments) 

I love you so much. Our Great God is preparing us to ROCK
this world. The devil quakes when this community is in action. So let’s kick
butt and take some names for the sake of Christ.

    I would love to listen in….but will be at work where no radio’s are allowed. Will it be available online somewhere? As you know I am a widow but I mentored a young SUM in our church mentoring ministry after 31 years of living in an SUM. Lynn and Dineen’s book so helped her in understanding her man and that her job was just to love him no matter his belief and to pray pray pray for his salvation one day…..and thru God’s grace she is in a much better place in her marriage. I tell every young woman I come across in an SUM about our experience.

    I AM ALL IN! I CANNOT BELIEVE HE TALKED TO YOUR HUSBAND! Can’t wait for next week ladies!! Will be there supporting online and in prayer all weel. Because I can remember the day, the minute God turned on my radio and gave me you & Dineen in my greatest moment of need. Through this ministry has changed my life and marriage. I will be there hopefully to catch someone in need and give them hope for their future. I LOVE YOU LADIES AND FAMILYLIFE TODAY – this is going to be GREAT!! I just can’t wait!

    God is SOOO amazing!!! Looking forward to the stories you’ll be sharing about your husbands faith walk…oh the power Gods grants us as a praying wife. While I wait on the Lord to wake up my husband Hectors spirit, I remind myself of Jonah’s prayer 2:1 “In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. From the depths of the grave I called for help and you listened to my cry.” Every prayers is heard and addressed. So excited for you and the journey God has planned with your husband by your side!!! Praise God!!!
    Do you have a schedule for the broadcast air time? I would love to share this or even listen in on Wednesday. I lead a bible study for group of women who are the spiritual leaders of their home…”SUM”.

    Yikes, NO. I better clarify that. He talks to him over the airwaves. My guy
    was not there. However, I'm waiting for Mike to listen to the broadcast and

    My husband would have a fit if he was mentioned by name over the air. While he is okay with me discussing things with a few in my support group, our business being plastered across the air nationally would make him rather mad.

    Yep, I think it takes a unique guy to handle all this but I also know that
    God has placed Himself around my man. He has given Mike a deep sense of
    security. I also believe God has influenced my husband to support in every
    way possible our ministry. THAT is our Great God at work. Leaves me
    breathless and astounded about it all because it's so unusual. Love you

    Whao! Looking forward with great anticipation to this broadcast next week. I don’t remember the exact date, but it was around the beginning of summer this year when I was Googling about spiritually unequalled marriages, and BANG, there you were! The first post I read spoke exactly to me and I’ve been hooked ever since! God is so good, and faithful, and amazing!!! And I am so THANKFUL for SUM and this community of believers! I’m not saying it’s been easy. Some days are better than others. There’s always been hope, but now I have a greater hope! And God continues to give me glimpses of that hope! So much so that I recently started a SUM growth group at my church and am so excited about what God is going to do in our marriages! THANK YOU ladies for hearing God’s call! Lives and marriages and families are being transformed in the hope and the name of Jesus! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I love you all!

    I cannot even imagine what it must be like to have a husband who would even participate on a Christian program. What a blessing and what a mighty God we do serve. I am continually encouraged through this ministry. I “happened” across one day while riding in my car listening I believe to Focus on the Family. I came right home and ordered the book. It is dogeared from reading. Thank you. And, yes I will be much in prayer for those who leave comments and offer support. Please pray for me. My marriage is very hard. I know that Jesus is the answer.

    Yes I’ll set my calendar and pray. I was married to an unbeliever developed feelings for my pastor and had to leave my church….fast forward two years my husband and I go to church every weekend and are in a bible study! You all supported me so much. I would love to support another. Big love to you!!!

    I will listen to the show online (We can do that now! Yeah!) I will pray for those who post and those who listen to the broadcast. My husband and I have been married for 18 years, and he has had to deal with me being a Jehovah’s Witness (7 baptized years) and now a Christian. He has had to deal with a LOT of self-righteousness, haughtiness, and “holier-than-thou” attitudes and behaviors. Given that, I can see why he isn’t super ready to jump on the Jesus train, but God is teaching me to pray and be patient. He (GOD) is also working on my own attitudes, behaviors, and habits. God is good, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good” (Romans 8:28).

    I am with you all the way! I will come back a couple times a day and attach myself to whomever God gives me and PRAY for them. I heard on the radio Friday that coming on Monday was to be an interview about marriages where one partner is walking with Jesus while another is not and I thought of you. I am so excited that it is going to be YOU who does the interview! God is so good ALL the time!! I will also be praying for you as you do these interviews. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to share God’s love and to be Jesus with skin on!!!

    Ladies,
    I am so blessed to be a part of this site of wonderful women. Six months ago I felt very discouraged because my prebeliever husband said he will never follow Jesus again. Then, our sweet, loving God lead me to this site and showed me all the amazing women who are holding on to God’s promises. Be strong and courageous my sweet friends!     Hello!
    I heard you on the radio several months ago and I know it was the Lord directing me to hear the broadcast. I had a sudden urge to order a pizza and it was perfect timing when I had to go and pick it up! SUM has been such a blessing and we need to encourage each other. We trust in the Lord, our Savior, but everyday life is full of challenges, really tough challenges. It would be a privilege to pray, encourage and comment. It’s necessary and you can count on me!

    Going to listen online in the studio. For all the newcomers who may be just surfing here and not ready to dive in…God works in ways we cannot even grasp. Just believe and watch Him perform! Don’t think the way this world thinks. redefine your mind to beyond imaginable because that’s how our Father operates and it IS SO COOL! As Lynn says…It truly WILL “FREAK YOU OUT!” LOL
